Where are you now?
Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) is a subsidiary of Siam City Cement, a public listed company in Thailand. I joined the NUS EMBA when I was a marketing and sale coordinator for South Asia and SE Asia region, and have since taken on the role of Chairman for the Bangladesh subsidiary.
How has the NUS EMBA helped shape where you are and what you’re doing now?
The programme equipped me with the confidence to run a business unit, and I gained both soft skills and valuable hard skills from the various professors I had. It also helped transform my leadership style to be more team-led and humble, which in turn enabled me to build a more efficient organisation.
