Yes, you may submit IELTS score in place of TOEFL.

Both GMAT and TOEFL are not mandatory requirements. However, GMAT may be required on a case-by-case basis. TOEFL is usually required if the medium of instruction during the undergraduate studies was not in English.

Yes, the laptop is frequently used during classes for projects and presentations. As such, it is recommended that you bring along a laptop.

No, exemptions and transfer of credits are not practiced in the programme. Candidates are required to take all the 18 modules.

You may defer modules or segments owing to work or family exigencies and make-up for the module or segment in the following year with the new cohort, while you continue with the rest of the modules or segment with your current cohort. The candidature period is 6 years but we strongly encourage you to complete the programme within 15 months with your cohort. Most of our students would complete the programme in 15 months or at most graduate with the next cohort.

Candidates who meet the following criteria:

- A good bachelor's degree
- Holds senior position or has the potential to assume senior managerial position in the near future
- A minimum of 10 years' full-time work experience

NUS Business School is known for its leadership in management and business. Its faculty comprises 5 academic departments, namely Strategy & Policy, Decision Sciences, Finance, Accounting, Management & Organisation and Marketing.

Our professors earned their doctorates from the best universities around the world, including institutions such as Harvard University, Stanford University, London Business School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, etc. They represent 28 nationalities and are competent in at least 20 languages. Our faculty members are also actively involved in both academic research and applied business consulting projects.

The NUS Executive MBA requires significant time commitment. Hence, candidates are strongly encouraged to obtain sponsorship where the employer agrees to relief the candidate from normal duties during all residential segments.

The programme comprises six intensive 2-week segments conducted in Singapore, India, Indonesia, Japan, China and Australia. Typically, each module lasts 60 hours. Reading materials will be sent 1-2 months before the class starts.

The payment structure can be found here. There are no financial aid available through the School. Candidates may take advantage of government grants, where possible, e.g. SPRING Singapore's CDG, if the organisation falls under the Small & Medium Enterprise category in Singapore. Candidates are strongly encouraged to obtain sponsorship where the employer agrees to relieve the candidate from normal duties during residential segments. Financial support from the employer, though preferred, is not mandatory.

Generally, about 20% of the candidates receive sponsorship from their employers. Another 30% are partially sponsored by the company, while the rest pay for their own fees.

While your company invests in developing your skills and rewarding your contributions, it is also preserving its corporate competence, by sending its executives to acquire the best practices, latest knowledge and skills that will continue to position the organisation at the forefront in a competitive business environment. You will be able to contribute immediately after each segment as you bring back with you new ideas to identify, analyse and solve company issues.

In addition, the interaction or networking with classmates, faculty and guest speakers often bring in new businesses to the company.

Returning to an intense environment after so many years certainly requires adjustment and time commitment. However, as most candidates have also been out of school for many years, they will face similar challenges. As such, the candidates provide mutual encouragement and support during the programme, leading to new networks or friendships forged along the way.

Upon graduation, you will get a Masters of Business Administration degree from National University of Singapore.

Yes, the administrators from the programme office will advise you about available accommodation on campus and also provide information about hotels nearby. Candidates may advise their preference. Most candidates however, prefer to stay on campus.

It is best to advise the administrators early if you wish to stay on campus, to avoid disappointments of not securing a room.
