Yes. There are several opportunities to discuss various issues facing your company, although it is important to note that these opportunities vary depending on the professor and the course. For instance, a course may require your learning team to use your company as an example for the selected topic to work on, or the flexibility to use any company suitable for the topic.
Some professors assign pre-course assignments, some assign post-course assignments – these may be individual or group-based. One or more exams during the two-week segment are common. Class participation also is an important factor. The exact weight of each of these items will be determined by the professor for each course.
All six residential segments are mandatory and have to be completed to graduate. In situations where participants are unable to attend one residential segment, they could apply for Leave of Absence and make up for the deferred courses/segment with the next cohort in the following year while completing the rest of the segments with their cohort. A request for Leave of Absence will have to be submitted to the programme office and approved by the Academic Director. This deferment will likely affect your graduation date. The candidature period for the programme is 6 years.
Both GMAT/Executive Assessment and TOEFL are not mandatory requirements. However, Executive Assessment may be required on a case-by-case basis. TOEFL is usually required if the medium of instruction during the undergraduate studies was not in English.

The programme structure allows participants to enroll from all over the world. It is ideal for executives who travel extensively and cannot attend weekend or regular evening programmes. Second, the class profile of the Executive MBA programme is significantly more senior, with more extensive business experience than students in traditional full-time MBA programmes. Learning from other senior peers is a core part of the value proposition of an EMBA programme. Student visas are not applicable for the Executive MBA programmes.
